‎The confirmation was made in a statement issued on Sunday by FAAN’s Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Henry Agbebire.

‎According to Mr Agbebire, the authority’s Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting Service was immediately deployed to the scene and is actively working to bring the situation under control.

‎He stated that no injuries or fatalities had been recorded as of the time of the statement.

‎Mr Agbebire assured the public that additional information would be released as the response to the incident continues.

‎The statement, however, did not indicate the cause of the fire or when it started.
