Wisdom Comprehensive Academy, Sabon Gari, Jalingo, has continue to stride in its commitment to nurturing the leaders of tomorrow, equipping them with the academic, moral and skills necessary to become responsible citizens capable of transforming the state and the nation at large.
The Director of the Academy Dr. Daniel Buba, discloses this during the school’s recent 2026 Speech/Prize Giving Day and graduation ceremony.
Dr. Buba pointed out the school’s vision, “to provide an excellent educational system for our students so that they can be stars of excellence in the future.” He expressed gratitude to all stakeholders including,
management, staff and parents for their contributions, noting with optimism that this vision is already beginning to manifest.
“With the students’ performance, we are optimistic that very soon, they will take over the affairs of this nation in all fields of endeavor,” Dr. Buba stated, underscoring the tangible progress observed.
According to him, the academy’s mission, centers on delivering quality and sound education for the people at the bottom of the pyramid at an affordable rate.”
He emphasized the school’s dedication to bringing excellence to the grassroots, ensuring that the local community benefits from educational standards comparable to those found in more affluent areas and the nation’s capital. “What the school is doing is to bring excellence to the grassroots at an affordable rate,” he affirmed, highlighting the deliberate effort to bridge the educational gap.
The Director boasts of impressive facilities, including well equipped classrooms, administrative offices, a library, laboratories and a clinic, alongside a dedicated team of qualified and seasoned teachers.
Dr. Buba praised his staff, noting that they “have exhibited their talents in shaping the children in the school and the results are very evident in the students performance.”
This year marks a significant milestone as the academy celebrates its first graduating class. “The students have successfully completed their West Africa Examination Council (WAEC), and we are hopeful that they will pass in flying colors,” he remarked.
Looking ahead, Dr. Buba envisions a bright future for the academy’s graduates. “I see our graduates making waves and transforming the nation in different spheres including medicine, law, engineering, politics, media, teaching and more,” he declared.
This vision reflects the academy’s aspiration to produce well-rounded individuals who will contribute meaningfully to society and drive progress across various sectors.
The success of its inaugural graduating class and the ongoing commitment to its core mission position Winners Comprehensive Academy as a pivotal institution in the development of Taraba State’s future leaders.
