The Taraba state Governorship Candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Senator Abubakar Tutare, has advised electorates in the state to reject politics of Religion and Tribalism, and rather vote candidates that will bring unity and cohesion among the people of the state.
He lamented that some politicians and elites have divided people along tribal and religious line for their benefits, adding that such division was responsible for the blackness of the state.
He therefore urged electorates in the state to shine their eyes and vote to power candidate that will bring unity and development to all part of the state.
According to him, his agenda is for the unity of Taraba people and infrastructural development to advance the welfare of the people of the state who are suffering because of years of misgovernment of resources of the state by past leaders.
He pledged that his administration, if he is voted as governor of Taraba state will focus more on rural development, provision of basic infrastructure and development of agro allied industries to harness agricultural potential in the state.
Senator Tutare who also unveiled Barr. Haruna kwetishe from Southern Taraba as his running mate said he will work hand in hand with his Deputy if elected as Governor and Deputy to execute his well articulated people oriented development projects for the benefit of the state.
“It is very important for us as people to reject politics of Religion and tribalism which is the cause of Taraba under development.
It is sad to note that those elected into power in the state hide under religion and tribalism to steal funds meant for the development of our state. Electorates should reject such politicians who use religion and tribalism for their personal gains”, he said.
