Nineteen Israeli defence companies have showcased military technologies at the annual Association of the United States Army (AUSA) exhibition in Washington, D.C., as Israel seeks to expand its defence exports following record earnings of more than $19.2 billion in 2025.

‎‎The Israeli Ministry of Defence said the delegation, led by its International Defence Cooperation Directorate (SIBAT), began participating in the exhibition on Tuesday to promote technologies developed and tested in operational environments.

‎‎The technologies on display include systems designed to intercept drones using deployable nets, counter satellite navigation disruptions, detect explosives remotely using unmanned aerial and ground systems, and provide thermal vision in darkness, smoke and fog.

‎‎Other innovations include hybrid engines designed to extend the flight time of unmanned aircraft and flexible solar panels for charging infantry equipment.

‎‎SIBAT Director, Brigadier General (retd.), Yair Kulas, said the country’s participation reflected confidence in the capabilities of its defence industry and the operational value of its technologies to the United States and other allied nations.

‎Kulas said representatives of the participating companies would hold meetings with US military officials to explore collaborations and translate interest in the technologies into commercial agreements.

‎The delegation includes established defence manufacturers and smaller technology firms and startups, including Ashot Ashkelon, IMCO, Orbit, ParaZero, AccuBeat, infiniDome, Steadicopter, Dagan Optics, SolarPaint, Asio Technologies and TraiSense.

‎‎The ministry said the exhibition would provide an opportunity to strengthen strategic and commercial ties with the US defence establishment, military branches and international partners, while opening up additional markets for Israeli defence products.
