‎‎The match, played at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan, saw the hosts recover from a setback to secure all three points.

‎‎However, Damilola Akintola struck in first-half added time to restore Shooting Stars’ lead, sending the Ibadan side into the break ahead 2-1.

‎‎On resumption, 3SC pushed for a third goal and won a penalty in the 52nd minute, but Sodiq Ibrahim failed to convert from the spot.

‎‎Ranchers Bees goalkeeper, Alhassan Tofa, made an important save to deny Ibrahim and keep the visitors’ hopes of a comeback alive.

‎‎The hosts continued to press and sealed the victory in the 71st minute when Qamar Adegoke scored their third goal.

‎‎The victory is expected to boost the morale of the players and technical crew following recent poor performances that had attracted dissatisfaction and negative reactions from fans.

‎‎With the win, Shooting Stars occupy 12th position on the league table with 11 points from nine matches.
