‎‎Jair Cunha opened the scoring in the 6th minute, while Liam Delap made it two for Nottingham Forest in the 18th minute.

‎‎In the second half, Ryan Cherki pulled one back for the Citizens in the 52nd minute, but Delap made it three in the 73rd minute to complete a brace against his former club and kill all hopes of a Manchester City comeback.

‎‎The result is Manchester City’s third consecutive EPL match loss. Enzo Maresca’s team remains second on the table but may slip to third if Brighton and Hove Albion beat Brentford on Sunday.

‎‎Nottingham Forest, who were placed 19th before the match, have, with the victory, left the relegation zone and are now 16th with nine points.

‎‎In an earlier matchday 10 fixture, Arsenal pipped Hull City 1-0 at the Emirates, with a goal by Martin Odegaard in the 72nd minute to extend their lead in the table.

‎‎Arsenal now have 27 points, while Hull City are placed 13th with 11 points.
