The youths of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State have unanimously declared their support for Chief Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh following what they described as wide consultations across the grassroots and party structures in the state.
The group also used the occasion to declare its total endorsement of Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second tenure, expressing confidence in his leadership and ongoing efforts towards national development and economic transformation.
According to the group, consultations were carried out from the ward level to the state leadership across the 17 local government areas of the state, with stakeholders, youth leaders, and community representatives endorsing Chief Ikoh as a credible and visionary leader capable of advancing the fortunes of the party in Abia.
The youths pledged their commitment to mobilize support for Chief Ikoh and President Tinubu, stressing that their leadership qualities, integrity, and dedication to inclusive governance have earned them the confidence of young party members across the state.
In a statement signed by Comrd James Anozie Solomon, the group affirmed that Chief Ikoh represents “the hope and future of APC in Abia State” while reiterating their resolve to work tirelessly for the re-election of President Tinubu in the interest of national progress and party unity.
