President Bola Tinubu on Monday met with Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia and former Governor Gabriel Suswam in Abuja as efforts to contain the escalating crisis in Benue State intensify.

A statement from the Presidency said the engagement was “as Benue crisis escalates,” bringing together current and former leadership of the state to review the situation and agree on next steps.
