Governor Abdullahi A. Sule of Nasarawa State has commissioned the 12.4-kilometre Agwada–Udege Road, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to improving road infrastructure and strengthening connectivity across communities in the state.
Speaking during the commissioning, Governor Sule said the newly completed road is part of his government’s strategic investment in infrastructure aimed at driving economic growth, enhancing transportation, and opening up rural communities for development.
The governor noted that the road is expected to significantly support mining activities in the area while also improving agricultural production by providing farmers with easier access to markets and reducing transportation challenges.
He added that the project will facilitate the movement of people and goods, promote trade, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the benefiting communities, describing it as another milestone in his administration’s efforts to deliver sustainable infrastructure across Nasarawa State.
