‎Mr Sesan-Olowa said the operatives’ responsibilities required dedication, professionalism and a strong sense of duty.

‎‎He added that the network was expected to serve as a vital link between the council and relevant security agencies.

‎‎The chairman outlined the CSIN’s areas of operation to include coastal protection, waste policing, security intelligence and crime prevention.

‎‎He urged the operatives to remain proactive in identifying and reporting suspicious activities that could threaten peace, security and environmental sustainability in the area.

‎‎Mr Sesan-Olowa said appointing Raji Kamoru as the new CSIN commandant was part of efforts to strengthen coordination within the network.

‎‎He described security as central to the council’s development agenda.

‎‎He urged the operatives to take their duties seriously and maintain effective communication and collaboration with security agencies operating in Ibeju-Lekki.

‎He warned against misconduct, abuse of office, and actions that could undermine public confidence in the initiative.
