The Liberation People’s Party, LPP, has “launched its digital membership registration portal, marking the commencement of full political operations after the Court of Appeal affirmed its status as a duly registered political party.”
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the party’s National Organising Secretary, Dr. Auwal Bashir, said “the online platform, http://lppnigeria.site, was unveiled to enable Nigerians across the country to register as members and participate in the party’s activities.”
According to the statement, “the launch represents a major milestone in the LPP’s efforts to expand its membership base and position itself as a credible political alternative ahead of future elections.”
The party recalled that “the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal, in a unanimous judgment delivered on June 2, 2026, affirmed that the LPP is deemed to have been duly registered as a political party with effect from December 22, 2025.”
“The Liberation People’s Party today unveiled its digital membership registration portal, http://lppnigeria.site, calling on Nigerians to embrace the party and join its fold,” the statement said.
It added that “the online registration platform signals the beginning of the party’s full-scale political activities and nationwide mobilisation.”
The LPP said “it remains committed to offering Nigerians a credible political alternative by promoting inclusive membership, democratic participation and issue-based politics.”
The party urged “Nigerians interested in its vision for national development to register through the digital platform and become active members as it prepares to deepen its political engagement across the country.”
