The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has
officially inaugurated the Taraba State APC Secretariat.
The event, held on Friday, August 7th, 2026, marks a significant enhancement to the party’s structure and grassroots mobilization in Taraba.
He asserted that the gubernatorial ticket of Governor Agbu Kefas and his running mate, Haj.Zainab Ibrahim (Anty Zee), is a sure ticket for victory in Taraba State.
“The ticket of Governor Agbu Kefas and my sister, Anty Zee, is a sure ticket”.
He said Taraba state has witness the presence of federal government now compare to the past administration’s.
“Never before has Taraba witnessed such a strong federal presence within a single presidential term as it is experiencing under President Bola Tinubu. From the construction of the Lau–Karim Bridge to the construction and dualization of the Ibi–Pankshin Road, among many other projects, the state’s infrastructure is receiving unprecedented federal attention”
His declaration signals strong backing from the national leadership for the current administration’s re-election bid.
Prof. Yilwatda describe the new secretariat as a symbol of unity, strength, and renewed commitment to delivering good governance to the people of the state.
The commissioning marks a significant milestone in strengthening the party’s presence and organizational structure in Taraba State.
The event marked a significant step in the party’s preparations for the upcoming political landscape in the state.
Party leaders, stakeholders, and members across the state gathered to witness what many are calling a new chapter for the APC in Taraba.
