The Bwacha Youth Movement has purchased the People’s Democratic Party, PDP nomination forms for Senator Emmanuel Bwacha to contest the 2027 governorship election, citing widespread dissatisfaction with the current administration.
This marks the beginning of a new chapter of development, transparency, and purposeful leadership for the people of Taraba State and the nation at large.
“This is not just about securing a form; it is a covenant with the youths and the entire people of Taraba State for purposeful leadership,” the youth said.
According to the movement, Sen. Bwacha campaign is anchored on competence, integrity, and service to the people and signaling a bold step toward the 2027 governorship race in Taraba State.
Speaking with Journalists in Jalingo shortly after receiving the Forms, the PDP Aspirant, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha appreciated the Youths for purchasing the forms for him.
He said that his coming is to unite the party.
“The PDP that Governor Agbu Kefas left, has left many issues behind and we need to clear all these issues.
“My agenda is to ensure that righteousness is enthrone into governance.
“Despite treath, I am still standing.
He disclose that over N800 billion have been wasted and nothing to show by the present administration.
“We were crying about the immediate past Governor, Darius Ishaku, now it is from frying pan to fire.
Senator Emmanuel Bwacha a governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC in the 2023 general elections promised to run a sincere and transparent administration when he emerges as the governor of the State and ensure that people are carried along and not just treated as nonentities.
“I want to let you know that I am not out to satisfy any personal goal. As a matter of fact, you will recall that I chose not to go to Court after the last election, despite good grounds that I had for litigation. I also made it very clear that if the government is able to provide governance, I would no reason to contest elections again.
“Sadly, we are all witnesses to what is happening in in the State. Three years on the saddle and there is nothing to show for it. This government has gotten more that the previous administration got in Eight years. Even at that, we blamed the government for failing so woefully. Now, you can’t even describe what is happening here. No roads, no attention to any critical sectors except promises. When is campaign going to end and governance begin?
He describe an Elderly statesman General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma as a father to all Tarabans and that he don’t believe in god fatherism. “We will keep respecting him.”
According to him the other faction of the PDP are working hard to see that all loose.
“They are trying to ensure that since they didn’t get, let all of us loose. We are prepared for all elections and will not be distracted by any faction.
He warned Electoral Officers whom have plans to put the state into confusion, to be careful.
Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, alongside his team, paid a courtesy visit to the former Governor, Rev. Jolly T. Nyame (Dabang Yorro), at his residence in Jalingo.
During the visit, Senator Bwacha and his delegation engaged in discussions with the former governor, who is widely regarded as Baban Taraba and a leading figure in Taraba North Senatorial District.
Political observers say the move could further energize the PDP base, while also setting the stage for heightened competition among aspirants ahead of the party primaries.
