Meta chief executive Mark Zuckerberg is seeking to raise up to $95 billion through stock-related deals to finance the company’s growing investments in artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure and personal superintelligence.
The fundraising plan, announced on Monday, includes about $35 billion in public stock offerings, comprising $22.5 billion in Class A common stock and $12.5 billion in depositary shares representing mandatory convertible preferred stock.
The move comes as Zuckerberg pushes ahead with Meta’s ambitious AI expansion, which requires massive investments in computing infrastructure and the development of advanced AI systems.
The broader fundraising programme is expected to extend into early 2027, with the company planning additional stock-related transactions to support its spending plans.
