Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has condoled with the presidential media team and family of Peter Onwubuariri, who died in Kano after a prolonged illness.

‎Mr Onwubuariri, an Assistant Director, Information and Public Relations at the Presidential Villa, died on Monday evening at 48.

‎The governor’s condolence message is in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Mustapha Muhammad, on Tuesday in Kano.

‎He described the deceased as a dedicated public servant who contributed meaningfully to information dissemination and public communication at the Presidential Villa.

‎He expressed deep sadness over the death, describing it as painful for the family, colleagues and the information and public relations community.

‎The Kano State governor extended his condolences to the late Onwubuariri’s wife, Catherine Onwubuariri, the immediate family, colleagues and the Federal Government.

‎He prayed to God to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, grant him eternal rest and give the family the strength to bear the loss.

‎Mr Onwubuariri was also an employee of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
