Naira Gains N12.41 Against Dollar at Official Market

The naira further appreciated on Tuesday in the official market, trading at N1,343.76 against the U.S. dollar.

According to data released on the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) ‘s official website, the naira gained N12.41.

This represents a 0.9 per cent gain compared with Monday, when the local currency traded at N1,356.18 per dollar.

The naira, which has been relatively stable due to sustained CBN reforms, is experiencing a second week of sustained gain.
