Niger Orientation Course to Begin July 7 in Abuja, Says NYSC

The Management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has approved Tuesday, July 7, 2026, as the commencement date for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I orientation course for corps members deployed to Niger State.

The scheme also announced that, due to the ongoing renovation of the NYSC Orientation Camp in Paiko by the Niger State Government, the orientation exercise for corps members posted to the state will be held at the NYSC Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Permanent Orientation Camp in Kubwa, Abuja.

Registration starts on Tuesday, 7th July and the cut-off date is midnight of Thursday 9th July, 2026.

The Swearing-in Ceremony for the 21 days Orientation Course will hold on Thursday, 9th July, 2026, while the Closing Ceremony is slated for Monday, 27th July, 2026.

In a statement by the NYSC Director, Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the Management enjoins the Corps Members to avoid night travels and wishes all Course participants safe trips to the Orientation Camp.
